Interviewer:

We meet us in Ilmenau / D during a Student Festival and we both were in the Dancing Group. When did you started to dance?

Adri:

Mmm...that's a difficcult question...haha, let's see I guess it all started at school, when I joined the dance group. We did many presentations on stage (on my school's stage) and despite the fact I turned very nervous before them, I loved them. Once I finished school my participation in the dance group also ended, and I felt that some dancing was missing in my life, I missed it!

Interviewer:

When and how do you discovered your love for dancing?

Adri:

It wasn't something specific, neither one intense moment nor a particular period in time. My love for dancing had developed slowly in time. It sounds amazing for me that when I was a child I hated to dance, I guess it wasn't really that I didn't like to do it, but that I felt embarassed about doing it...crazy! Since I joined my school dance group it all started to flow. And now, I realize dancing is one of the things I enjoy the most in life.

Interviewer:

What kind of dances are you dancing? Classic ballet, folk, dances for competition?

Adri:

Mostly folk dances, but I 've also tried with contemporary dances and I love it!

Interviewer:

Why are you dancing? What do you find in dancing? What do you receive from it?

Adri:

There are many things in life I do to achieve an specific goal, such as studies, but with dancing is different. I do mostly because I feel so good while doing it, I enjoy it 100%, it helps me express myself throught my body, and feel more conected and happy about it. It also gives me vitality, optimism about life...it's just wonderful!

Interviewer:

Any special need or desire?

Adri:

I needed to express myself, to enjoy, to have pleasure, all things that I founded in dancing. It was then when I started to look for some academies where I could continue with it. However, I'm looking forward to dance as a lifetime hobbie, not just in some occasions as it's now.

Interviewer:

What is your goal in dancing? What do you want to reach?

Adri:

Well, in spite of the fact that I don't have nay specific goals in dancing, cause this is an activity I do for pleasure, I'd love to learn really well how to dance marinera norteņa and do many shows in here. Marinera is a folk dance typical from the north of my country, and is the one for which I've always felt something special.
